King Spa's policies are designed to ensure a safe, clean, and respectful environment for all guests. By entering King Spa, you agree to follow all rules and policies. Violation may result in immediate dismissal without a refund and may lead to a permanent ban from the facility.
General Admission & Facility Use

Admission tickets do not include any spa service.

General admission is based on a day pass during operating hours.

There is no re-entry once you exit the facility. No exceptions.

Last entry is at 11 PM.

Bathing suits and clothing are not allowed in the bathing area.

All guests must shower before and after using the baths.

All service durations include preparation and change time.

Members are not permitted without a valid membership card.

You may use the locker room that matches the gender identity on your government- or state-issued photo ID.

Guests must adhere to all spa policies or face dismissal without refund.
Age Restrictions

Children under the age of 10 are not permitted—no exceptions.

Children aged 10 to 17 are allowed only when accompanied by a same-sex guardian.

Guardians must sign a waiver form at the front desk.

Seniors aged 70 and older are also required to sign a waiver form.

Children under 18 are not permitted to use the Signature Massage service.

The Bulhanjeungmak room is only available to guests aged 15 and older.
Health & Safety

King Spa reserves the right to deny admission to anyone with contagious illnesses, skin conditions, or health issues that may pose risks to others—even if accompanied by a guardian.

No admission for guests under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Anyone with health concerns may be denied entry at King Spa’s discretion.

Glass cups, glass tumblers, or any other fragile items are not allowed inside.
Conduct & Responsibilities

Abusive or harassing behavior toward staff, guests, or the facility is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate removal.

Guests must leave a photo ID, credit card, car key, or valet ticket at the front desk in exchange for a locker key.

A $30 replacement fee applies for each lost locker key.

Shoes must be stored in your locker.

Outside food, drinks, alcohol, large towels, blankets, and pillows are not allowed.

King Spa is a smoke-free environment.

Guests must watch their personal property at all times; King Spa is not responsible for lost or stolen items, including personal belongings, tickets, or prepaid coupons.

Lost and found items are held for one month only.

Spa service customers may stop the service within 10 minutes. Full-service dissatisfaction does not qualify for a refund.
Refund Policy

If denied entry due to policy violations, payments will not be refunded.

A refund may be requested only if:

Your stay did not exceed 10 minutes, and
-
You did not use any amenities (e.g., showers, pools, uniforms, dry saunas).

King Spa reserves the right to change, amend, or modify any policies at any time without prior notice.
Non-Discrimination & Gender Identity Policy
NO DISCRIMINATION PERMITTED ON THE BASIS OF SEX, SEXUAL ORIENTATION, GENDER IDENTITY OR GENDER EXPRESSION
ALL CLIENTS AND PROSPECTIVE CLIENTS
Our company prohibits any form of unlawful discrimination against employees and clients on the basis of sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression. Our policy is designed to create a safe and productive environment for all employees and an open and inviting environment for all clients regardless of their sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression.
This policy is meant to advise clients of what to expect at our spa and must be posted (i) at the front desk, visible to all clients at check-in and all employees responsible for checking in clients; (ii) in all sex-segregated areas of the spa, visible to all clients upon entering such areas; and (iii) on the company's website, visible/accessible to all clients viewing the company's policies for admission to and use of the spa's facilities.
Any incident of discrimination, harassment, or violence based on sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression, or retaliation against any person objecting to or supporting enforcement of legal protections for same, will be given immediate and effective attention, including, but not limited to, investigating the incident and taking any appropriate corrective action.
NAME/PRONOUNS
Every client and employee has the right to be addressed by the name and pronouns that correspond to that individual's gender identity, upon request. A court-ordered name or gender change is not required, and all staff are required to respect the name and pronouns designated by such individual regardless of documentation. The only identification that may be requested of any client or employee must be requested of all clients and employees, regardless of sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression.
ACCESS TO SEX-SEGREGATED FACILITIES
Our company maintains certain sex-segregated facilities and areas which only members of that designated sex may access and use. These areas may include but are not limited
to certain areas of the spa where full nudity is required, permitted and/or expected, such as bathrooms, locker rooms, showers, saunas and bathing areas.
All clients will be permitted to access and use the sex-segregated facilities and areas that correspond to that client's gender identity, regardless of whether the client is transgender or not, and regardless of any physical or other traits the client has which may or may not align with traits stereotypically associated with that gender. All clients must show government identification prior to accessing any sex-segregated areas, regardless of whether the client is transgender or not and regardless of any physical or other traits the client has or does not have.
No client is ever required to use or access any communal sex-segregated areas. However, all clients understand that if they do use such areas, many of these areas are ones where they should expect to see other clients who are partially or fully nude, and other clients in those areas will be able to see them while they are partially or fully nude. Some of these areas require clients to be fully nude in order to access and use these areas. Clients who choose to access and use sex-segregated areas where partial or full nudity is either required or permitted do so with the understanding that other clients using those areas may have bodies that do not appear to align with the stereotypical body parts associated with the gender designated for that area.
Our company treats all clients of the same gender equally, and does not require that transgender clients use or access any of the sex-segregated facilities corresponding to the transgender client's own gender identity in any manner or with any conditions other than those which non-transgender clients may use or access such facilities.
No client may force another client not to use the sex-segregated area corresponding to the other client's own gender identity because of the requesting client's own personal discomfort, nor will the spa agree to any demand by any client to prohibit any other client from using any communal areas in any manner or with any conditions not equally required of all clients using such areas.
ADA / Discriminationon
King Spa follows ADA and New Jersey accessibility laws. We do not deny access based on disability. Any limitations are only based on safety considerations in certain wet areas, and we will always work with you to provide reasonable accommodations.
